BARBOUR COUNTY STUDENT STUDYING AGRICULTURE RECEIVES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Auburn University student and scholarship recipient Drew Spivey of Louisville was recognized during the Alabama Farmers Federation 2016 Scholarship Recipients Luncheon Aug. 27 at the Ham Wilson Arena in Auburn. Spivey graduated from Lakeside School and studies environmental science.The $1,750 scholarship was funded by the Barbour County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation. PARNELL TALKS TO BARBOUR, RUSSELL COUNTY FARMERS
Alabama Farmers Federation President Jimmy Parnell visited with members of the Barbour and Russell County Farmers Federations June 20 at Backyard Orchards in Eufaula. Annually, Parnell travels across the state to meet with members in all 67 counties.
