Covington County Students Receive $1,750 Agriculture Foundation Scholarships
Auburn University students and scholarships recipients Brandon Buckelew, Drew Blackstock, Emily Hammett and Cammie Grace Weaver were recognized during the Alabama Farmers Federation 2017 Scholarship Recipients Luncheon Aug. 19 at the Ham Wilson Arena in Auburn. Buckelew studies wildlife ecology and management; Blackstock studies agricultural business and economics; Hammett is studying pre-agriscience education; and Weaver is an agricultural communications major. The $1,750 scholarships were funded by the Covington County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation.
