HENRY COUNTY STUDENTS STUDYING AGRICULTURE RECEIVE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
Auburn University students and scholarship recipients Claire Peterson of Abbeville and Caleb Nall of Headland were recognized during the Alabama Farmers Federation 2016 Scholarship Recipients Luncheon Aug. 27 at the Ham Wilson Arena in Auburn. Peterson graduated from Abbeville Christian Academy and studies animal sciences, pre-vet track. Nall graduated from Headland High School and also studies animal sciences, pre-vet track. The $1,750 scholarship was funded by the Henry County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation. PEANUT BUTTER DONATION HELPS LOCAL FOOD BANK
In August 2016, the Henry County Farmers Federation board of directors donated a pallet, or 1,440 jars, of peanut butter to the Judson Baptist Association Food Bank in Henry County.
