HAMILTON HOMECOMING WEEK FEATURES FATAL VISION EVENT
The Hamilton High School Student Government Association and Marion County Farmers Federation partnered to sponsor the Fatal Vision program Sept. 15 during Homecoming Week.
Fatal Vision educated high school students about the dangers of drunk and distracted driving. Supervised students wear goggles that simulate different levels of intoxication while driving an ATV through a course.

COUNTY FEDERATION DONATES TO FIRE DEPARTMENTS DURING ANNUAL MEETING
To help protect rural citizens from fire, the Marion County Farmers Federation donated to fire departments in the county during the group's annual meeting Aug. 5 at the Hamilton Recreation Center. The Federation donated $2,500 each to 11 local and volunteer fire departments. The same donation was made to the Marion County Volunteer Fireman's Association.
