DISTRICT 3 YOUNG FARMERS MEETING
Selwood Farm in Talladega County hosted the District 3 Young Farmers for a meeting June 2. Thirty-six people attended, including Alabama Farmers Federation District 6 Director Dell Hill. From left are Tallapoosa County Young Farmers member Clint Burgess, District 3 State Young Farmers Committee representative and Calhoun County Young Farmers Chairman Adam Wilson, Clay County Young Farmers member Paige Teague, Randolph County Young Farmers Chairman Ben Johnson and Talladega County Young Farmers Chairman Amy Stephens.
RANDOLPH COUNTY YOUNG FARMERS HOST AG DAY
The Randolph County Young Farmers hosted an Ag Day for county FFA officers March 11 at the Randolph County Ag Center in Roanoake. Alabama Farmers Federation Young Farmers Chairman Lance Miller provided an ATV and tractor safety demonstration. The Federation's Guy Hall and county member Scotty Noles also talked about the poultry and dairy industries.
RANDOLPH COUNTY MARKET SWINE SHOW AND SALE
The Randolph County Farmers Federation purchased the grand and reserve champion pigs at the Randolph County Market Swine Show and Sale.

RANDOLPH COUNTY STUDENT STUDYING AGRICULTURE RECEIVES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Auburn University student and scholarship recipient Luke Knight of Randolph County was honored at the Alabama Farmers Federation 2015 Scholarship Recipients Luncheon Aug. 22 at the Ham Wilson Arena in Auburn. Knight of Roanoke graduated from Wadley High School and is studying agricultural communications. The $1,750 scholarship was funded by the Randolph County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation.
