RUSSELL COUNTY FARM-CITY WEEK CELEBRATION
The Russell County Farm-City Committee hosted a breakfast Nov. 17 at the Phenix City Activity Center.

RUSSELL COUNTY STUDENT STUDYING AGRICULTURE RECEIVES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Auburn University student and scholarship recipient Trey Beck of Phenix City was recognized during the Alabama Farmers Federation 2016 Scholarship Recipients Luncheon Aug. 27 at the Ham Wilson Arena in Auburn. Beck graduated from Glenwood School and studies animal sciences, pre-vet track.The $1,750 scholarship was funded by the Russell County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation. PARNELL TALKS TO BARBOUR, RUSSELL COUNTY FARMERS
Alabama Farmers Federation President Jimmy Parnell visited with members of the Barbour and Russell County Farmers Federations June 20 at Backyard Orchards. Annually, Parnell travels across the state to meet with members in all 67 counties.
