The Alabama Farmers Federation welcomed Clarke County native Ginny Bradley to an internship with its Alabama Wheat & Feed Grain and Soybean Producers May 14. Bradley is a senior at Troy University, where she is studying communications and public relations.

“I am very thankful for this opportunity,” said Bradley, who will work out of the Federation’s Montgomery home office. “I think this will be a great experience, not only to improve my writing and communications skills, but also to learn more about the agriculture industry.” 

Duties include visiting farms across the state, assisting with Alabama Ag in the Classroom and special projects. She will also write for Federation publications, concentrating on how checkoff dollars are used. 

“We are glad to have Ginny working with us on these projects,” said Carla Hornady, the Federation’s Wheat & Feed Grain and Soybean divisions director. “Her enthusiasm for learning and communications will be a great asset as she interacts with producers this summer.”

At Troy, Bradley serves as secretary of the Lambda Pi Eta National Honors Society for Communication Studies. She was a charter member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and is an Alpha Gamma Delta alumna.

Bradley is the daughter of Steve and Jackie Bradley of Jackson. She graduated from Jackson Academy in 2015.
