Two Autauga County college students were honored at Auburn University events for receiving Federation scholarships.
Jessie Nichols received the Autauga County Farmers Federation Scholarship at Auburn University’s College of Agriculture’s annual Scholarship Recognition Program Aug. 24.
Zac Lee received the Alabama Farmers Federation Scholarship at the Federation Scholarship Recipients Luncheon in Auburn earlier the same day. He is a senior studying biosystems engineering at Auburn University.
This year’s Alabama Farmers Federation scholarships were awarded to 23 high-achieving young men and women from Alabama who are pursuing agriculture-related degrees.
The Alabama Farmers Federation, Alfa Insurance and county Farmers Federations are committed to supporting the college dreams of students studying agriculture. These organizations donate thousands of dollars each year to students across the state.
