A Barbour County native with deep ties to agriculture has joined the Alabama Farmers Federation in fighting for farmers as legislative and policy assistant. Laura Beth Horne began her new role Sept. 14 in the External Affairs Department, where she supports the organization’s advocacy work with state government.
