Charlie Thompson of Lauderdale County is serving on the American Sheep Industry Association (ASIA) Production & Research Council. Kirk Smith of Blount County is also serving on the ASIA Young Sheep Entrepreneurs Committee. Both are State Meat Goat & Sheep Committee members.

Daniel Carter of Autauga County made the Collegiate Discussion Meet Sweet 16 during the American Farm Bureau Federation FUSION Conference in Milwaukee March 15-17. He is a sophomore at Auburn University.
