American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention
Delegates from 51 Farm Bureaus, including the Alabama Farmers Federation, attend. Farmer-delegates vote on policy changes, Young Farmers compete in national contests, and members attend educational workshops and hear from nationally renowned speakers.

Alabama-Florida Peanut Trade Show
Peanut growers gather in Dothan to elect board members and receive updates while attending a trade show featuring industry leaders and businesses.

Young Farmers Conference
Young Farmers aged 18-35 gather to network, compete in the Outstanding Young Farm Family contest, tour farms and attend workshops. The location rotates around the state.

Washington Legislative Conference
Federation members network with Congressional leaders and appointed officials. These connections help foster relationships and influence policy critical to agriculture and rural America.

Jr. Livestock Expo
This is the premier livestock show in Alabama, where youth earn scholarship money while competing in showmanship contests and showcasing beef cattle, dairy cattle and swine.

Women’s Leadership Conference
Members from county Women’s Leadership Committees attend to learn about leadership, hone skills to improve their farms and homes, and celebrate the Alabama Farm-City Luncheon and Awards Program.

Farm & Land Conference
This event, formerly known as Commodity Producers Conference, focuses on farm tours, Young Farmers events and commodity workshops.

Alabama Landowners Conference
This conference spotlights Alabama’s natural resources through seminars and awards ceremonies. It’s a joint effort of the Alabama TREASURE Forest Association, Alabama Natural Resources Council and Alabama Tree Farm Committee.

AFVGA Annual Conference & Trade Show
This conference, coordinated by the Alabama Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association, spotlights specialty crops with events including a trade show, workshops, business meeting and awards presentations.

Annual Meeting
More than a thousand farmer-leaders attend. Delegates elect leaders and vote on policy recommendations; Young Farmers and Women’s Leadership committees are elected; state-level awards are presented; and commodity committees elect leaders.
