PEANUT BUTTER AND CRACKER FUDGE

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups crumbled round buttery-flavored crackers

Preparation

Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute, or until a soft ball forms when a small amount is dropped from tip of spoon into small container of cold water. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla and crumbled crackers. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool until set. Makes 40-45 pieces.
