Earl Saxon of Attalla died July 7. He was 83.

Saxon was a former Alabama Farmers Federation state board member and former Etowah County Farmers Federation president.

He is survived by wife Virginia Miller Saxon, son Clifford Allen Saxon and grandson Justin Lee Saxon.
