George Jeffcoat of Houston County received a $2,500 America’s Farmers Grow Communities program donation from the Bayer Fund. Jeffcoat, the Alabama Farmers Federation Southeast Area vice president, presented the funds to the Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation, which will award a scholarship to a Houston County student at Auburn University.
