From catfish to cattle and from plants to poultry, attendees have a wealth of farm tours to choose from during the 2018 Young Farmers Conference March 2-3. Click here to register by Jan. 22.

The annual conference is based out of the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery. Tours will depart the hotel early Saturday morning.

Tour options:

• Tour A — Pearce Catfish Farm, Orrville Farmers Market and row crop operation Bell Place Farms in Dallas County
• Tour B — Robertson/Lanier & McKay Cattle Co. in Chambers County, Auburn University’s National Poultry Technology Center and Young’s Plant Farm in Lee County
• Tour C — Parkman Cattle Co. in Montgomery County, Gene and Jana Renfroe’s Pike County TREASURE Forest and Steve Stroud’s Pike County poultry and hay farm

Fun Pianos by 176 Keys, a dueling piano show, will entertain the crowd Friday evening.

Finalists for Alabama’s 2018 Outstanding Young Farm Family will be announced Saturday before a live auction benefiting the Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation.
