Alabama Farmers Federation joins elected officials, constituents and others in offering sympathy to the family of Rep. Jimmy Martin, R-Clanton, who passed away this week. He was 80. 

“Rep. Martin will be missed,” said Federation External Affairs Director Matthew Durdin. “He was looking forward to the Alabama Farm Center coming to Chilton County and was instrumental in passing legislation to help develop Centennial Park.”

The Martin family owns a funeral home in Clanton. The late state representative served as Chilton County coroner for about 40 years.
