Gov. Kay Ivey Signs Alabama Broadband Accessibility Act

Alabama farmers and rural families are one step closer to gaining access to high-speed internet services. Gov. Kay Ivey signed SB 149 by Sen. Clay Scofield, R-Red Hill, into law Wednesday. It provides grants through the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) to companies investing in broadband infrastructure.
