Cloyce Hammonds of Wellington died Dec. 25. He was 79.

Hammonds formerly served on the Alabama Farmers Federation state board and was a Calhoun County Farmers Federation past president. He received the Senior Leader Award in 2014.

He is survived by wife of 58 years Mary Faye Hammonds; daughter Benita Morris (Greg); and son Bryan Hammonds (Mary).
