Brentwood Farms of Bibb County was named a finalist for the Beef Improvement Federation (BIF) Outstanding Commercial Producer of the Year Award. The farm, owned by Chip and Misty Burkes and managed by Trouble Moody, has approximately 400 Simmental and Angus-cross cows.

Sidney Phelps of Tallapoosa County was named to the Greenhouse Product News 40 Under 40 list, which recognizes up-and-coming professionals. Phelps is Bonnie Plants’ e-commerce director.
