The Alabama Farmers Federation has welcomed Auburn University (AU) agricultural communications senior Morgan Graham for a summer internship May 7. She will intern until August with the Federation’s Public Relations and Communications Department.

Graham, a Brundidge native, said she’s excited to learn more about Alabama’s agriculture industry.

“I am thrilled and honored to have this opportunity to learn and sharpen my communications skills,” Graham said. “I know I will be working with some of the best in the industry while getting to network with farmers throughout Alabama.”

Her responsibilities include writing and taking photos for Neighbors magazine, managing social media and special projects.

“Morgan brings an enthusiasm for agriculture and a passion for learning to the table,” said Debra Davis, the Federation’s publications director. “I’m excited to help cultivate her skills this summer and show her agriculture’s impact on Alabama.”

Graham was a College of Agriculture leader and served as social media chair for AU Young Farmers. She was involved with AU Collegiate Cattlemen and was senior director of AgHill Communications, a student-led public relations organization. She will graduate Aug. 4. She is the daughter of Mark and Vonda Graham of Brundidge and graduated from Pike Liberal Arts School in 2013.
