BEEF & BEAN NACHOS
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup salsa
1 (16-ounce) can black beans, drained
1-2 cups shredded cheese
1 head lettuce, shredded
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 (13-ounce) bag nacho-flavored tortilla chips
Preparation
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain well. Stir in taco seasoning, blending well. Add water, salsa and beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes. Place mixture on a platter; place cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream in individual bowls and arrange around platter as toppings. Serve with chips. Makes 4 servings.
