Ingredients
6 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups corn syrup
4 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 unbaked pie crusts
Preparation
Beat eggs lightly until foamy and stir in sugar. Combine all ingredients with the egg mixture, stirring by hand. Divide the mixture between two uncooked pastry shells. Cover edges of pastry with foil to prevent burning. Bake 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees for 30 or 35 minutes. Makes two pies.
