Ingredients

2 cups sorghum syrup
2 cups parched peanuts, ground or finely chopped

Preparation

Place sorghum in a boiler with deep sides. Over medium heat, bring syrup to a boil and cook until a candy thermometer reaches 255F. Rove from heat and stir in peanuts. Pour into a buttered 9-by-13-inch dish to cool. Cut into squares when cooled.
