Ingredients

Start-to-finish: 1 hour (15 minutes active) Serves 4-6
1 1/2 pounds ground chuck or deer
1 egg
2 tablespoons Dale’s Steak Seasoning
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup ketchup
Preparation
Mix all ingredients except ketchup, stirring with meat fork. Shape into a loaf in a baking dish, being careful not to pack meat too firmly. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes. Top with ketchup and return to oven for 5-10 minutes.
Substitutions: Cream of Mushroom soup can be substituted for ketchup. One package of dry onion soup mix can be substituted for one medium chopped onion.
