MILKY WAY ICE CREAM

Ingredients

12 (2.05-ounce) chocolate-covered nougat and caramel candy bars, chopped
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
3 quarts milk, divided
1 (4-ounce) can chocolate syrup

Preparation

In a large saucepan, heat candy and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring, until candy is melted. Cool; add 1 quart milk, blending well. Pour into one-gallon ice cream freezer container. Stir in chocolate syrup and add remaining milk to fill container. Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. Makes 1 gallon.
