Basic Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

4 tablespoons minced onions

2 1/2 cups ketchup 

1 cup mustard 

1 1/4 cups Worcestershire sauce

1 cup vinegar

1/2 cup lemon juice 

2 1/2 teaspoons black pepper

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons Durkee Famous Sandwich and Salad Sauce

1/2 cup hot sauce

Preparation

In a large pot, mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for at least one hour. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
