OPENED-FACE BACON, TOMATO, & BASIL SANDWICHES

Ingredients

1 loaf of white bread
Mayonnaise
1 pound of bacon, fried crisp and crumbled (or packaged real bacon bits)
A carton of grape tomatoes, sliced
1 bunch of fresh basil, washed and chopped

Preparation

Cut bread into desired shapes with cookie cutters (such as baby carriages for a baby shower, flower shapes for a spring bridal tea, etc.)
Spread mayonnaise on the bread shapes and sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Place 2 slices of tomato on each and sprinkle with fresh basil.
