Cindy’s Crisped Rice Treats

Start-to-finish: 30 minutes

1 stick butter

1 and 1/2 packages of mini marshmallows (10.5 oz package)

8 cups of crisped rice cereal

Melt butter. Add mini marshmallows on low heat. Stir until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal until mixed together well. Pour into greased 9-by-13-inch casserole dish. Pat with greased spatula until evenly distributed in dish. Let cool and cut.

Behind the recipe: I developed this easy recipe after I was disappointed with other crisped rice treat recipes I found on cereal boxes. I am not a baker, so this is my go-to recipe for an easy sweet treat. The secret is real butter.
