Ingredients
2 cups cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 (8-ounce) can cream-style corn
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup buttermilk
1 large onion, diced
1 tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl. Set aside 2 hours before cooking. Drop by spoonful into hot oil and fry until browned.
