WAFFLE HILL FARM

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup melted shortening or oil
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk (or milk)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and cook on a waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
