GORDIE CARTWRIGHT’S SWEET POTATO CORNBREAD
Ingredients
1 (7-ounce) package Martha White Sweet Yellow Cornbread Mix
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
1 cup mashed cooked (in microwave) sweet potatoes
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 large egg
1 pinch nutmeg
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in order. Pour into a greased cast iron skillet, and bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until done (light brown).
