SCALLOPED SWEET POTATOES AND APPLES
3 large tart apples
4 medium sweet potatoes, cooked
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup honey
Slice apples 1/2-inch thick; cut potatoes in 1/2-inch slices. Saute apples in 2 tablespoons butter in skillet until light brown. Arrange alternate layers of potatoes and apples in greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt. Combine remaining butter and honey. Pour over casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
