2 (29-ounce) cans cling peach halves in syrup
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup cider vinegar
4 cinnamon sticks
2 teaspoons whole cloves
Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine peach syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, then lower heat and simmer 10 minutes. Pour hot syrup over peach halves; let cool. Chill thoroughly before serving. Store in refrigerator. Makes 10-12 servings.
