Ingredients

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour

12-ounce jar maraschino cherries, chopped and drained

1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained

1 pound chopped pecans

4 sticks butter, softened 

1 cup sugar

6 large eggs, room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla
