ALAGA Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients

Start-to-finish: 1 hour
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup ALAGA Cane Syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Heat oven to 450 F. In mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add salt, ALAGA Cane Syrup, eggs and vanilla, beating well until mixed throughout. Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pie shell. Pour filling over pecans. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 F and bake 35 minutes longer.
