Beef Noodle Bake
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon sugar
16 ounces tomato sauce
Medium onion, chopped
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces medium noodles, prepared according to package directions
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 350 F. In a skillet, combine beef, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low 5 minutes. Add onion to the meat sauce. Cook on low 5 more minutes. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream. Set aside. Assemble dish in a 2-quart baking dish coated with cooking spray. Place noodles in the bottom of the dish. Add sour cream mixture. Follow with meat sauce. Top with cheese. Bake 30 minutes.
