SPAGHETTI SAUCE

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, chopped
1 large bell pepper, chopped
2 pounds ground beef
2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste
2 (15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 (15-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 or 2 (8-ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, optional to taste
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic
8 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

Sauté onions and bell pepper in butter. Add ground beef; brown and drain. Mix all ingredients together and cook in crock pot, or on low heat on stove, stirring often. 
Freezes well.
