SPARERIB HONEY GLAZE
1 cup tomato sauce
¼ cup lightly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
¼ teaspoon allspice
½ cup honey
¼ cup onion, finely diced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 pounds spareribs
1 teaspoon ground mustard or ¼ cup prepared mustard
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Brush sauce over ribs several times during grilling or baking.
For the Crock-Pot, cook ribs on low 8 hours. Drain nearly all liquid from ribs; pour on honey sauce and cook 1 hour.
