PECAN PIES

Ingredients

1 /2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
6 eggs, well beaten
1 cup white corn syrup
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 cups pecans, halves or chopped
2 (9-inch) pie shells, unbaked

Preparation

Combine margarine, eggs, corn syrup, sugar and vanilla, blending well. Stir in pecans. Divide mixture evenly between two pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. (Pies freeze well.)
