4 cups sugar
2 ounces instant coffee
4 cups water
1 1/2 cups Syrup
1/2 gallon whole milk
1/2 gallon vanilla or chocolate ice cream
For Syrup: Combine sugar, instant coffee and water in a saucepan. Heat to a boil, stirring until sugar and coffee dissolve. Cool; cover and refrigerate. Use as needed to make punch. Makes about 4 1/2 cups Syrup.
For Punch: Combine 1 1/2 cups Syrup with milk and ice cream in a punch bowl, blending well. Ladle into cups and top each serving with a dollop of whipped topping and garnish with sprinkles and cherries. Makes about 1 gallon punch per making.
