POPPY SEED CHICKEN CASSEROLE
POPPY SEED CHICKEN CASSEROLE
Ingredients
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
1 1/2 stacks oval buttery crackers, crushed
1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
3 tablespoons poppy seeds
Preparation
Cook chicken in water to cover until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain; cool and chop into small pieces. Combine with two soups and sour cream, blending well. Pour into a 9- x 13-inch casserole dish. In a bowl, combine crushed crackers, margarine and poppy seeds. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
