Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 small bulb of garlic
3 medium onions
1 green pepper
2-3 tablespoons oil
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 (15-ounce) can tomatoes
1 (15-ounce) kidney beans
4 tablespoons chili powder
2 cups sliced mushrooms
Preparation
Chop onions, green pepper, and garlic. Coat the bottom of a large pot with oil and cook onions, peppers and garlic until tender. Add meat and cook slowly. Mix in tomato paste, tomatoes, beans, chili powder and mushrooms. Simmer slowly for 30-45 minutes.
