EGG CUSTARD PIE

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
4 eggs
Dash of salt
2 cups milk, scalded
1 teaspoon vanilla
Deep-dish pie shell, unbaked
1/4 cup butter

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix sugar, eggs, salt and milk. Add vanilla. Pour into pie shell and dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
