STRAWBERRY FIGS

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 cups figs
1 (3-ounce) package wild strawberry flavor gelatin

Preparation

In a sauce pan pour sugar over figs; let stand 2½ hours. Add gelatin to figs. Bring to a boil, and continue cooking 20 to 30 minutes until syrup is thick. Fill and seal jars while mixture is hot.
