LEMON COBBLER
Ingredients
2 lemons, peeled, if desired, and sliced paper-thin, seeds removed
1 tablespoon plain flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups hot water
Dash salt
Pastry for double-crust pie
Preparation
Place lemons in an 8- x 11-inch pan. Sprinkle flour and sugar over lemons. Cut butter in small pieces and dot tops of lemons. Pour hot water into pan and add dash of salt. Roll out pastry and slice into strips. Place strips over lemons. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
