Grandma’s Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/4 cup real butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 cup pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
dash of salt
1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix all pie filling ingredients together until well blended. Pour into unbaked crust. Cover edges of crust with foil to prevent over browning. Bake at 375 F for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove foil from crust 10 minutes before pie is done. Pecan pie is easy to overcook. The center should be set but jiggle slightly when removed from oven.
