Ingredients
1 cup minute rice, uncooked
2 cups fresh broccoli florets, uncooked
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 cup grated cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup water
Preparation
Layer rice, broccoli, onion, almonds and cheese in a greased 8-inch-square dish. Spread soup over top. Drizzle water over casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 4 servings. (NOTE: For a meal-in-one casserole, place 1-1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken over broccoli layer.)
