Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup crushed cornflakes
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugars. Add oil, egg and vanilla; mix well. Dump in oats, cornflakes, coconut and pecans; stir well. Sift together flour, salt and soda; add gradually to first mixture. Form into 1-inch balls, place on parchment paper (or greased) pans, patting down. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes until light brown. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
