Ingredients

3 1/2 cups water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1 quart reserved broth mixture
1 cup reserved dressing mixture
1 1/2 cups chopped gizzards, boiled until tender
1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
1-2 drops yellow food coloring
2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water

Preparation

Bring water to a boil in medium saucepan; add bouillon cubes and stir until dissolved. Add reserved chicken broth, reserved dressing, gizzards and egg. Cook and stir for about 15 minutes. Add 1 or 2 drops of yellow food coloring and thicken with the cornstarch mixture.
