1 yellow butter cake mix
1 cup of ground pecans
1 (12-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 sticks of margarine
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups confectioner’s sugar
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Mix cake as directed on box and stir in 1 cup of ground pecans. Cook in two 9-inch cake layers at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool, and split layers. Combine all ingredients for frosting, except pecans, and beat until smooth. Stir in pecans and frost layers when cooled.
